Bryson's Christmas Show

We just got back from Bryson's first Christmas show at school!

We have been SO excited about this for weeks! I think I've talked about it every single day. Bryson has been looking forward to singing Christmas songs at school and has not been quiet about it :)

Over the summer, he was moved up to the 3yr old room at school because he was "too advanced and getting bored" in his class. I was fine with that because I loved that he was going to be challenged academically in the new room. Then, in August, they suggested that they move him up to the 3 1/2 year room because he's even more on their level and can keep up with them perfectly. I was a little hesitant because he was no where near 3 1/2, he was only 2yrs and 9 months. I thought he'd be behind everyone and kind of the "runt" of the room ad wasn't sure I wanted him to move up. They assured me they've been trying it out for a while and he would spend half the day in each room and he never mised a beat and he wasn't even the smallest in the room. Michael and I went back and forth discussing it, but the thing that sealed the deal for us to let him move up to the new room was that the kids do a Christmas show!! YAY!!

With an exuberant amount of energy, he kept announcing "I'm going to school with my family to sing Christmas songs loud and clear!"

His class and another class (in the matching shirts) filed in to sing the opening song of Jingle Bells

He most definitely sang loud and clear, he was the only one we could hear ;)

A couple other classes sang a song and then everyone got together to sing We Wish You A Merry Christmas

He did great!! We were all SO proud of him!
We had to take a few pictures afterwards ;)

B and Ms. Rosie, his Spanish teacher, whom he adores

He was more interested in going to eat a cookie though

I can't wait for all the Christmas performances in the future with our 3 little ones!!

  1. This is so adorable I can't hardly stand it. Asher is in a Christmas show at school too and I'm WAY more excited than he is. Haha! Isn't this the cute stuff all our hard work is for, though?
