Clowning Around

We learned Tons of new skills at our cake class on Tuesday. One of them was how to make clowns! It was pretty exciting :) Maybe our child will ask for a clown on his birthday cake one day, and I'll say, "Hey, sure, no big deal Sweetie, I can handle that!" :)

I know you can't see the details on the cupcakes, but we also learned how to make teddy bears and people faces! We didn't exactly have all the right colors for them, so mine are all white. I guess that means I learned how to make Polar Bears and computer nerds :-)

Whoa BABY!

Monday was the first day of my 2nd Trimester! HOORAY! My sweet husband took me to eat at Buca De Bepo (YUM!) and then over to Stonebriar to go shopping. We went into A Pea In The Pod and Michael found an adorable dress for me, and I decided to go try it on. I went into the dressing room a bump-less 3 month along pregnant girl and came out like this....

Michael's face was priceless when he saw me! They had a fake belly in the dressing room and I just couldn't resist! The lady that worked there swore to us that it is only supposed to add 3 months to where ever you are in your prengancy. I am hoping she is terribly wrong. I still have 6 months to go, which means I would be double that size! Uh Oh!!

It was fun to feel super pregnant at least for a little bit :)

*I also know now that make up is always a good idea, no matter how much you don't want to put it on.*

I want it!

I found this PRECIOUS tote on a blog and I really want it! I looove things that are monogrammed! I would use it as a picnic bag on all the picnics that our sweet little family of 3 is going to go on in the near future. Or, Maybe I would use it as a fun storage basket in Fantlet's room for a while. Maybe I will win!?We shall see :)

Cake Time!

My Sisters, Mom and I are all taking a cake decorating class this month. I am SO excited about it! I love to bake and now maybe I'll know how to make them all fun and pretty! :)

Last Tuesday we learned what all the icing tips do, how to frost a cake, and some other basic stuff about the tools we're going to use. We ended up having SO much homework for the next class; I felt like I was actually in school again!

Tonight, we learned how to make lots of different designs on the cake, how to write words correctly and the beginning part of making a rose (which is apparently very difficult because we have to do it in 4 different stages) This is part of stage 1

I was pretty certain my cake would somehow end up here, but I was pleasently surprised:) (We had to make the rainbow cake. Otherwise, I'm not a fan of rainbows)

I can't wait to see what we're going to learn next week!!

Ode to Orion

I sure do love my puppy. I sure will love him once the baby comes. I'm also sure he will not get NEARLY the same amount of attention that he does now. Orion can keep Michael and I entertained all night long. He's precious! These are some videos to prove it :)

Michael loves to play with O's arms because they're so bendy:)

Orion REALLY wanted the football that Brandon put in the middle of the waterfall just to make O go crazy!! :)

This was O's first swim ever! He actually didn't hate it as much as I expected :)

Wedded Bliss

Today is our 2 year Anniversay! Wow, how time flies. We celebrated last night and went to Kobe Steak and Sushi. It was our first time to go to Kobe, but we love Hibatchi Restaurants! The food was pretty delicious and was just an all around wonderful anniversary! I have decided that I will be having sushi almost immediately after the baby is born. I wanted it so badly last night!

Our Anniversary present to each other is a trip to Boston next month. It is also our "Baby Moon" before the baby cames and our family is no longer just the 2 of us. I can't wait to go to Boston with you!!

I have absolutely loved every second of being married to this man! He is such a strong, and loving husband. I can't wait to see him hold our precious little baby for the first time. I know he will be a wonderful Daddy. I am so blessed that God put him in my life and I can't wait to see what else he has in store for our future.
Happy Anniversary Baby!

13 Weeks!

I am only 6 days away from being out of my first Trimester!! Hooray!

Right now, at 13 weeks, my baby has it's own set of fingerprints, all of the organs and veins have been formed and are continuing to grow, and he is about 3 inches long!! If it's a girl, then right now she has about 2 million eggs in her ovaries....WOW! It is very humbling growing a life inside of you. Michael and I get weekly updates about the growth and development of our baby and every day I am more and more in awe of the miracle God is forming inside me. Everything about pregnancy is a complete miracle. Thank you God for your awesome power!

I have been so blessed during my pregnancy so far with no morning sickness or any major problems. We're continuing to pray that it stays worry free! I've been talking to several friends that are pregnant and they all said that they started showing around week 13-15 so I'm patiently waiting for my little bump:) My tummy is pretty uneventful right now, but I'm posting a few pictures anyway...just for fun!

AT 10 Weeks

At 13 Weeks

The next picture is at 5 weeks.

It is for in 3ish years after the baby is born and I still haven't lost any of the baby weight, I can say that once upon a time I was actually in-shape! :)

I'll definitely be posting more pictures once something starts growing!

What A Wonderful Day!

I can't stop smiling!

1. Michael and I got to hear our baby's heart beat tonight!! It was the most wonderful sound my ears have ever heard. One of my friends is also pregnant and rented a fetal doppler monitor from a hostpital for a couple months and she has let me borrow it for a little while. We haven't heard the heart beat at the Dr's office yet since our appointmnt isn't until next Tuesday, so this was a huge treat!!! I really wanted to duck tape the wand to my belly so I could listen to it all night!

2. I also bought my diaper bag tonight! Yes, yes, I know I don't need it for like 6 more months, but I really wanted it! And I LOVE it! I've always wanted a really cute bag, not a gross Winnie The Pooh Bag or anything. So since a ton of girls at my school are pregnant, I've been looking at them all year and have absolutely fallen in love with the Fleurville Diaper Bags. They are waaay more than I wanted to pay for a diaper bag. BUT! I found it online for much cheaper and bought it! YAY!! Now I just need little Fantlet to come so I can use it! What do you think!?

AND!!! The icing on the cake....only a day and a half left of school!! :-)
