The Babysitter's Club

Michael asked me out on a date this weekend.
We were both really excited to get to spend some special time together without the bambino, but I was a little hesitant about it, to say the least. I tried to prepare myself all week for leaving him. Fortunately, he had seven on the best baby sitters around!

Meanwhile, Michael and I enjoyed a delicious sushi dinner. I hadn't had sushi since I got pregnant and was SO excited about it! Michael had the hibachi grill.

We were kinda on a time crunch because Bryson usually goes about 2ish hours between feedings, and since we haven't given him a bottle yet, we had to be home in time for me to feed him. I'm not gunna lie, there was some serious self-control going on on my part to not have my eyes glued to my watch checking the time and also to not have my phone in my hands texting them to make sure he was ok and wasn't starving to death.

But, we had a great time together and got home just in the nick of time :)
We had a lot of lovey-dovey time with him when we got home :)

  1. Awww! I'm so excited you guys had such a great date night and SUSHI! Your pics are just too cute! Plus I'm sure your family got some much needed Bryson bonding time:) You guys are so precious! Love it!

  2. Ha! I love that he had not 1 but 7 babysitter!! I'm sure he was held the entire time!!

Glad you guys got to go out!! Good for ya'll. Lots of new parents don't take the time to continue to date each other!!

  3. Such a cute story! I remember leaving for the first is nerve racking. I am so proud that you resisted texting and checking your watch and you enjoyed being with your hubby! Great pictures!
I know the babysitter club had a blast!
