Kids Say The Darndest Things
It is really funny to see my kids react to my belly and me being pregnant. They say the funniest things about it. Every one of them(even in the other classes) is so excited and so curious about everything.
Some of the comments I've gotten so far:
* "Do you ever want to let your baby out of your tummy to breathe for a little bit?"
* How come you weren't pregnant yesterday? Where did you hide your baby?" -The first day of school we wore our school t-shirts and I don't look pregant at all in them. The 2nd day, I wore a fitted shirt and one of my boys noticed my belly.
* "I was addicted to your baby last night. I couldn't stop thinking about what he would look like and if he will smile all the time like you" -Precious!!
* One little boy touches my belly every time he sees me. He puts both hands up (as if cupping a little kids face) and says "oh sweet wittle baby. helwo baby waby. yes helwo baby!" It cracks me up!! --He has a brand new cousin at home that he does the same thing to :)
* "I think being pregnant is creepy. You have something moving around in your stomach. I had something in me once. I ate a bug. But I don't think it was moving by the time it got to my stomach." --I laughed out loud for a good 3 minutes at this!!
Did I mention that I love kids!?!? Well I do :) I'm sure there will be more precious comments as my belly grows!
B is for Bryson
It is so much fun getting ready for our sweet little boy. When we buy/make something for him, it just makes it feel like he will be here before we know it. It just blows me away that I'm already in my 6th month of pregnancy! It feels like the weeks are going by so quickly right now!
These are a few of the things that are being prepared for Bryson :)
We ordered this bib the day we found out we were having a boy. I love it!!
I ModPodged scrapbook paper to the front of the "B" and put glitter on the sides. The glitter is hard to see in the picture, but it adds a lot to it. :)
I can't wait for him to wear this :) I bought an iron-on "B" at Hobby Lobby and created this amazing masterpiece all by my self. Ha! And by "created this amazing masterpiece" I mean I heated up the iron and held the iron to the onsie for 3 minutes and it was all done. :)
I love these blocks! I have to admit though, I did steal the idea from another blog :) I ModPodged different styles of scrapbook paper to the faces of the blocks and then stamped his name on the front. **I wasn't exactly thinking straight (pregnancy brain!!!) when I ordered the blocks, I only bought 5 instead of 6. So just pretend it says "Bryson" :) The 6th one is on its way!**
Yesterday, John, my father in law, came over to help us put the chair rail up in Bryson's room. I had originally planned on just adding this to the list of things I was going to do in his room by myself over the summer since Michael had been so busy with school. Thank goodness I didn't have to do that! John and Michael worked so hard on the rail and it looks so good!! I pretty much just sat back and watched. :) The only thing I did was take pictures and hold up the level to make sure everything was straight. There are some pretty interesting angles in the room, so it was funy to watch them try and figure out how to cut the wood. I am so excited about it!! :)
The guys with the finished product :)
Thank you so much for coming to our rescue, John!!
Today we get to putty the nail holes and paint the rail and then we get to go pick up Bryson's furniture Wednesday night!!! We can't wait to get the furniture in the room!!
You can bet that there will be pictures posted as soon as it is all put together! :)
M.I.A.
I am so excited about the new school and the girls I work with; I think it will be an awesome year! My new room is huge compared to my room last year. I have so much storage space, I don't even know what I'm going to put in all the cabinets. It's such a wonderful problem to have :) I don't have an "after" picture yet, but I'll post it as soon as I take one. This is what my room looked like when I first walked into my new classroom. (It looks much different now!)
The first several weeks of school is always so exhausting, as every teacher knows. I've been trying to get up to the school around 6 so I can get some things done before the kiddos come in and then I don't leave until 5 or 6 that evening. 10-12 hour days make for an exhausting week! Plus, being pregnant on top of that makes it quite a bit more exhausting. I told Michael I feel like I'm in my 1st trimester all over again! I go to school, come home and take a nap, eat dinner and shortly after that go to bed for the night. It's pretty sad.
On top of that, Michael started school this week. He had class 2 nights this week and then had a seminar one night. He stays really busy with his classes as well.I can't wait until he graduates in December!
It has just been a crazy couple of weeks in the Fant House!! I'm really hoping it will calm down soon! :)

21 Weeks!!
Bryson is almost One pound now! (Wait...if he's only ONE pound, then why have I gained so much more weight than a pound....?...hmmm) He also has eyebrows and distinct eye lids now. YAY! I can't wait to see his sweet face!!
In other news.... Michael got to feel Bryson move last night!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SO glad he finally got to feel him!! I felt him for the first time 5 weeks ago and I'm just so happy that he gets to feel his kicks now too! :)

Golf Ball Bandit
Murder in the Wild West
It was a Wild West Poker Tournament Theme, so everyone dressed up as cowboys or western girls (Like in Maverick!) Our character and character description was emailed to us ahead of time. Michael was Mitch Maverick, a banker from Boston that went West only for the tournament and I was Minnie Money, a Debutanute from the East Coast who was "friendly" with several guys. HA!
- (I look humongo in that picture!!)
After lots of fun investigating about the rigged tournament, someone died
Poor Michael :( heheh
Then we had to figure out who the murderer was. Back to investigating...
I was the only one who guessed the murderer so I got a fancy schmancy award :)
It was such a fun night!! We will definitely be doing it again!!
A Closet Full of Clothes....
I feel like I've said this every morning for the past few weeks. Since my belly is getting bigger, I am slowly growing out of most of my clothes.
A closet full of all these wonderful clothes....
...And these are the only ones that fit :(
I can actually still wear most of my normal pants with a Bella Band, but maternity pants are just so much more comfortable!!
AND one of my sweet friends just gave me some of her maternity clothes that she can't wear anymore so I am SO excited about that! Thank you Melissa!!
We'll see how long I can go without buying any more clothes for a while:) HA!

Half Way!!
I can't believe I'm officialy HALF WAY through with my pregnancy! Wow! It seems like I've been pregnant for a loooong time, yet at the same time it feels like there is NO way it's half way over!
Bryson is now 10 inches long from head to heel and weighs 10.5 ounces. I feel him move like crazy still and the movements are getting bigger and harder! He's a strong boy already :) I have an appointment on Wednesday, so hopefully we're both still doing perfect!
Everyone asks me how I'm doing and feeling and it is absolutely amazing for me to be able to say this, but I'm doing perfect! Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I've been waiting for my turn to "get it". I skipped the morning sickness, bypassed the headaches and heartburn (so far) and pretty much everything else that comes with pregnancy. I know "my turn" is coming soon, which is why I keep a bottle of Tums and Tylenol in my purse at all times! HA!
This pregnancy is such a blessing and I am most DEFINITELY enjoying every single second of it!!
