We had such a nice, long 3 day weekend. It was so wonderful to spend time as a family...very needed!
We usually go to my parent's lakehouse for the weekend, but we got to pick up Orion from puppy camp on Saturday, so we figured we should stay at our house and let him get used to the new rules and routine at his own house. I'm glad we did, because we had so much fun relaxing at home enjoying having Orion back and playing with our little man!
We went to dinner with friends on Friday night, Michael made some amazing skirt steak fajitas Saturday night, Had dinner with Michael's family on Sunday night (another amazing meal!), and then spent all day at my parent's house/pool (even though they were at the lake :))
Bryson got in the big pool for the first time and loved it! We kept him shaded in his cute little float and he was happy as a lark for about an hour.
He wore himself out and took a 2 hour nap! :)
He also started sitting up for a couple minutes at a time now!
He is also developing the same addicition his mommy has to the iPhone. He starts reaching for it the second he sees it :)
The three day weekend was such a tease. I loved spending all day with Michael and Bryson....and sleeping past 4:30! At least there's only a few days left of school! :)
What a fun weekend! We need to get Jude one of those floats.
