Our little man is 7 months old!
Bryson is growing and changing SO much, I can hardly keep track of everything.
He keeps Michael and I laughing all day long with his expressions and noises. He makes the silliest noises. Let's just say he knows what sound a lion makes. :) I love it! He growls/roars when he gets excited or really wants something. And, speaking of animals, he likes to throw in a little "bear crawl" when he's crawling. He sticks he booty up in the air, moves a little and then goes back down on all fours.
Going along with the animal theme; he also eats like a pig. :) He eats a hefty bowl of oatmeal or rice cereal with 2 ounces of milk and 3 ounces of veggies 3 times a day and nurses 4 to 5 times a day. I broke down and started using formula in his cereal about a month ago and it's gone really well. He's reverted back to his newborn days and is just completely refusing bottles again. I should have listened to my mom and given him bottles consistently over the Summer...oops! Mama Mel bought him a sippy cup so we're working on that right now.
He enjoys crawling, but he really really wants to just get up and walk. Like, REALLY badly. He's pulling up on pretty much everything, but especially likes using our hands, legs, etc, to stand up with. He'll walk a little bit (with us holding his hands) and his face completely lights up and you can tell he is SO proud of himself. He loves it!
But, as Isaac Newton stated, "what goes up must come down", B is definitely taking his fair share of tumbles. Poor baby has a bump on his eyebrow tonight. Last night it was his forehead and I'm sure tomorrow night will be al of the above. He's so much tougher than I expected, though. Such a strong boy :)
We brought out his little car last week and he loves it! I feel like he looks SO old when he's riding on it.
He also started tilting his head to the side to look at things. Another thing that cracks us up. Just getting new perspectives, I suppose :)
He is sleeping so so much better, thank goodness. I almost don't know what to do with myself at night when it only takes 15 minutes to put him down instead of 2 hours. Oh, but don't worry, I found things to do intead real quick. Naps are completely unpredicable. One day his morning nap was 30 minutes, the next day it was 3 hours. It's really hard to schedule the day when I have no idea when he'll wake up. :) I had to snap a picture one day during his nap. He's so goofy. Pay close attention to where is left foot is... :)
And... random picture time.
I can't believe 6 months have already come and gone. We are savoring every minute with our sweet boy. We are so blessed to have such a sweet, happy, healthy baby. We love him more than words can say!!
Happy 7 Months, Sweet Boy!!
