Nurse Stephanie

My sister's incredibly hard work over the past four years has paid off. She is officially a nurse!!

Stephanie graduated from Baylor this past weekend and had many fun ceremonies leading up to it.

Thursday, we went to her pinning ceremony.
Stephanie asked my grandma, who was a nurse for many years, to pin her. It was very special.

After lunch, she was inducted into her Honor Society. Smarty. :)

Back at home, it was time for pictures and presents!

Friday, we all traveled to Waco for the actual graduation ceremony.
YAY Nurse Steph!!

Reminiscing her runs on the Bear Trail

Now, she just has to wait until the middle of June, when she gets to begin her dream job at Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas.

We're so proud of you, Steph!! Love you!!!

Mother's Day

Being a mom is the greatest gift I will ever receive.
I could never put into words how much I love my sweet son or how much joy he gives me. I truly cherish every smile, every giggle, every "ah ha" moment, every new milestone, every "mama", every kiss, and even every tantrum.

Lord, thank you for letting me be Bryson's Mommy!!

Engaged

This past weekend was "Engage Sunday" at our church.
It's a day where everyone in the entire church comes dressed in their Sunday best

and goes out into the community to be the hands of Jesus. It's amazing.

Over 2,000 people loaded up in 70 school buses and went to different places to help do jobs.

Our ABF went to a school in Richardson that desperately needed classrooms painted and landscaping in the front of the school. Thankfully, the rain stopped just in time and everything looked great!!
Michael and I were inside painting. The walls started out off white, bright green textured wallpaper and black cement....

 ...and ended up white! Phew!

It was a great time of fellowship with friends and a true pleasure to be a part of this amazing day.
I love our church!

Easter Weekend Part 2

Easter morning, we all woke up, ate breakfast and got ready for church. Bryson could hardly wait to go find his Easter Basket! Well, actually, Bryson had no idea he even had an Easter basket, but mommy and daddy were excited!! :)

After Church, we went over to my parent's house and all had Easter lunch. Ray and Alicia came over and celebrated with us as well. :)

We dyed/stamped eggs.

Then, afterwards, went to Michael's parent's for dinner.
B got another adorable Easter basket!

He had his 4th egg hunt. Grandma and Papa found the CUTEST little animal eggs!!

Bryson got to play with chalk for the first time! He had fun coloring the ground...until he ate it...   :)

This is THE funniest picture to me!! I can't help but laugh everytime I see it!!
I told Bryson to say "cheese", and this is the face I got!! haha I've never even seen this face before! hahah!!

We are so SO blessed to have 2 amazing families. We love you!!
